This Hamburger Bowl is a deconstructed version of a classic hamburger, combining seasoned hamburger patties with crispy potato wedges, fresh tomato salad, pickles, and your favorite condiments.

It's a fun way to enjoy all the flavors of a hamburger without the bun. The addition of potato wedges in this bowl makes it an incredible dish.

Ingredients

Hamburgers:

  • 1 Pound of Ground Beef or Ground Bison
  • 1 Teaspoon of Kosher Salt
  • 0.5 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • 0.5 Teaspoon of Garlic Powder

Directions

  1. Prepare the Potato Wedges according to the recipe.
  2. While the potato wedges are cooking, place the ground beef or ground bison into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Gently mix until the seasonings are evenly incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  5. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape into hamburger patties.
  6. Preheat a cast iron pan or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Cook the hamburger patties for approximately 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  8. While the hamburgers are cooking, prepare the Tomato Salad.
  9. Assemble each bowl with hamburger patties, potato wedges, tomato salad, and dill pickle slices.
  10. . Serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
