A yogurt bowl with fresh fruit is my favorite breakfast. It has protein and satisfies my sweet tooth with a drizzle of honey on top.

This recipe can be topped with fresh fruit, granola, sliced almonds, cinnamon, or whatever toppings you enjoy with yogurt.

Yogurt Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt (I like the consistency of Fage 2%)
  • 0.5 Cups of Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 Tablespoon of Sliced Almonds
  • 1.5 Tablespoons of Honey

Directions

  1. In a bowl, add the Greek yogurt and top with your favorite toppings.

Tips

  • My favorite toppings are fresh blueberries and honey.
  • Since plain Greek yogurt is quite tart, adding honey offsets the tartness to make this bowl really enjoyable.
  • Greek yogurt is a great protein source, especially for starting the day with protein.
