Yogurt Bowl
A yogurt bowl with fresh fruit is my favorite breakfast. It has protein and satisfies my sweet tooth with a drizzle of honey on top.
This recipe can be topped with fresh fruit, granola, sliced almonds, cinnamon, or whatever toppings you enjoy with yogurt.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt (I like the consistency of Fage 2%)
- 0.5 Cups of Fresh Blueberries
- 1 Tablespoon of Sliced Almonds
- 1.5 Tablespoons of Honey
Directions
- In a bowl, add the Greek yogurt and top with your favorite toppings.
Tips
- My favorite toppings are fresh blueberries and honey.
- Since plain Greek yogurt is quite tart, adding honey offsets the tartness to make this bowl really enjoyable.
- Greek yogurt is a great protein source, especially for starting the day with protein.
