Hamburgers

Dairy-Free

Soy-Free

Hamburgers are one of our favorite meals! The hamburgers can be cooked in a frying pan/cast-iron pan or outside on the BBQ.

Hamburgers can be topped with your favorite ingredients to make them personalized for each person.

Paired with crispy onion rings or French fries, this meal is a classic.

Hamburgers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Ground Beef or Ground Bison
  • 1 teaspoon of Sea Salt
  • 0.5 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
  • Hamburger Buns
  • Optional Toppings: cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, mustard
  • 1 Bag of Alexia Crispy Onion Rings

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill (outside) or pan (inside) to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the meat into a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the kosher salt and black pepper.
  4. Gently mix until the seasonings are evenly incorporated, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  5. Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
  6. If cooking on a pan, cook the burgers for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If cooking on a BBQ, cook on indirect heat for 10 minutes and then cook for a few minutes over the fire to finish the hamburgers.
  7. During the last minute of cooking, add cheese slices if desired.
  8. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the onion rings or French fries according to the package directions in an air fryer.
  9. . Assemble the burgers with your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
  10. . Serve immediately with the onion rings or French fries.

Tips

  • Ground bison makes an an incredible hamburger, especially when BBQing with charcoal.
  • If the hamburger buns or breadh is stale, toast the buns/bread to add extra flavor and helps keep them from becoming soggy.
  • **French fries** can be substituted for the onion rings. Recommendation: Alexia House Cut Fries with Sea Salt.
  • If you're cooking the hamburgers on the BBQ, grilling a package of Applegate Organic Sweet Italian Sausage alongside them makes an excellent addition to the meal.
