Flatbread Pizza

Soy-Free

Flatbread pizza is a weekly meal for our family, as using flatbreads makes for any easy pizza night.

The flatbread comes out crispy and any toppings can be added to customize each pizza.

Directions

  1. Preheat the over to 425 degrees (F) and put a baking sheet into the oven to heat up.
  2. Prepare the toppings while the oven is preheating (slice veggies, slice fresh mozzeralla, etc.).
  3. Once the oven is preheated, take out the baking sheet and add the flatbreads to the baking sheet (2 flatbreads fit on a baking sheet).
  4. Add pizza sauce to each flatbread and then add the toppings that you like to each flatbread.
  5. Bake in the oven for 9-10 minutes.
  6. Take the baking sheet out of the oven, transfer each flatbread to a cutting board, and slice into 6 pieces for each flatbread pizza. Enjoy!

Tips

  • To make this recipe dairy-free, skip the mozzeralla cheese. This recipe works great with pizza sauce and turkey pepperoni.
  • When making a cheese pizza, it helps to bake the pizza for 9-10 minutes and then move the pizza to the top rack in the oven and change the oven to broil. Broiling for 1 minute (not more!) causes the cheese to melt further and get nice browning.
  • A great combination for a flatbread pizza is grilled chicken, bell peppers, and mozzeralla cheese.
  • Add pizza sauce all the way to the edge of the flatbreads to prevent the flatbreads from burning in the oven.
