Steak Fajitas

Description

Steak fajitas with sauted vegetables are a delicious meal! Substitute the steak for chicken, if preferred.

This dish is a favorite in our house as everyone can make their own combination of fajitas. Plus, this dish pairs great with Spanish Rice.

Fajitas are such a flexible meal, as they can be customized to make everyone happy.

List of Ingredients

  • Flank Steak
  • Canola Oil
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Sea Salt
  • Limes (2 or 3)
  • Tortillas (Corn or Flour)
  • Toppings of your choice (lettuce, salsa, veggies)

Recipe Steps

  1. Trim the excess fat off of the flank steak
  2. Add the flank steak to a large bowl for marinating
  3. Add 3 Tablespoons of Canola Oil, 2 Tablespoons of Black Pepper, 1 Tablespoon of Sea Salt, and the juice of 2-3 limes into the bowl to marinade the flank steak
  4. Let the flank steak marinate for about 15 minutes (it's a short marinade time)
  5. Slice up the flank steak prior to cooking into thin strips
  6. Place all the flank steak strips into a large frying pan and cook on medium heat
  7. Stir the flank steak around every few minutes to makes sure it is cooking evenly
  8. Once the flank steak starts to get a slight char on it, transfer the steak to a plate
  9. Serve in either corn or flour tortillas with your favorite toppings
