A breakfast sandwich is a great combination of fluffy eggs and sausage. Plus it's on a bagel to make it even better!

  1. If desired, toast the bagel slightly (so it's not too crispy).
  2. Heat up the sausage patties in the microwave per the package directions (usually 90 seconds for 3 sausage patties).
  3. In a non-stick pan, heat up the butter on medium heat until it melts and spread the butter over the cooking surface of the pan.
  4. Crack the eggs into a measuring cup or small bowl and whisk thoroughly with a fork.
  5. Reduce the heat on the pan to low and add the eggs to the frying pan.
  6. Fold and mix the eggs after a minute until cooked all the way through.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by adding the scrambled eggs, ketchup (optional), and sausage patties to the bagel. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Cook eggs on a low temperature to avoid frying them or over-cooking them. Scrambled eggs should be soft and just cooked through.
  • The bagel should be soft, so don't over-toas the bagel if it's not fresh.
